1-3 win for Knack in Antwerpen!

Tough match the one our guys in blue had last night when they had to go and play in Antwerpen.  Everybody knows that they have a couple of players that given the chance can make a huge difference in a match and that makes them very dangerous to play against especially in their home court.

At the end Knack is able to survive a scare and take away 3 important points that together with the win of Averbode against Lennik gives them a bit of breathing room for the coming matches that will be tough.

Scores of the match were 22-25/22-25/25-23/23-25.  Stats for the match here.

Now Knack has a whole week to prepare their next test when they have to go and play in another traditionally tough place for them in Halen next Wednesday.

Tough night the one our guys in blue had when they had to receive the visit of Averbode who had already beaten them a week ago 3-0.

It was not the best of match technically but it was full of excitement and drama when both teams went back and forth trying to best their opponent in front of them.

At the end Knack survives but looses a crucial point that can make the difference in the future.

Scores of the match: 23/25-25/23-22/25-25/14-15/11.

Stats for the match here.

Tough start but a 3-0 win for Knack!

Scary start the one our guys had last night when they received the visit of Antwerp in Schiervelde.  Precura Antwerp had a huge lead in the first set and still was not able to finish it on top.  On the other hand our guys kept at it and showed their level and confidence to take away that first set with a score of 25-23.

After that Antwerp was just not the same one and made more hitting errors and reception mistakes to give away easily the second set with a score of 25-17 for Knack.

Normally and traditionally Knack comes out a bit flat for the third set after the 10 minute break but this time they showed they wanted to get a 3-0 result no matter what and raised their level once more to finish the match in 3 sets with a final score on the third set of 25-18.

Now Knack receives Averbode who beat them just last week but this time they have to come to Roeselare where not many teams have been able to put a dent in their confidence.  It will not be an easy match and we should all be there to support our guys in blue.
